Job summary

Luton Bennett is seeking a Field Service Engineer to service mobile/industrial electrical equipment across the North/Midlands region. The role offers substantial overtime, stay-away for installations, and a competitive package.

You will need PLC experience and electrical fault-finding skills, plus an electrical qualification, and be comfortable travelling to client sites.

Qualifications

• Experience with PLCs and electrical fault finding.
• Electrical qualifications (16th/18th Edition) and Level 3 electrical or equivalent.

Up to £47,840 Base + Lots of Overtime paid at 1.5 & 2.0 (Realistic OTE £55,000 - £70,000) + Van + Fuel Card + Laptop + Phone + Uniform + PPE + Paid Door to Door Travel + Call Out 1 in 7 (paid extra) + Pension + 20 Days Holiday + Bank Holidays + Stay Away Expenses

Field Service Engineer required for a fast growing and reputable recycling company offering lots of overtime and training on the equipment.

To apply for the Field Service Engineer role you need experience with PLC’s and electrical fault finding. Engineers need to have an electrical qualification.

You’ll be responsible for electrical and mechanical repair work on recycling equipment at client’s sites across the Southeast and East Anglia.

The Field Service Engineer Role:

• Repairing or replacing damaged parts and reassembling at client’s sites
• Electrical and mechanical service and fitting components to meet specifications and standards
• Lots of overtime
• Call out rota 1 week in 7
• Stay away in the week when needed primarily for install and commissioning

The Field Service Engineer Required:

• PLC’s and electrical fault finding
• Comfortable with travel and stay away when needed
• Electrical qualifications – 16 to 18th Edition and level 3 electrical or equivalent
