The Opportunity: Field Service Engineer

The Impact you will have:
- Attend customer locations to assess the scope of work, prioritize tasks with the end user, and ensure safe working practices.
- Communicate with controllers and customers about the expected work, providing clarity on timescales and costs.
- Identify the root cause of breakdowns promptly and obtain the correct parts efficiently, involving the Briggs Technical team when needed.
- Ensure all work complies with engineering standards and manufacturer specifications.
- Perform inspections and checks during work to ensure equipment safety and performance before handover.
- Identify additional work needed and inform the customer, maximizing potential revenue from repairs.
- Complete all job and service documentation accurately, obtaining necessary signatures and customer approval.

- Relevant technical qualifications
- Experience in a similar role
- Good understanding of hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical principles
- Ability to work independently and under pressure
- Strong workload management and prioritization skills
- Understanding customer needs

- A base salary up to £36,934 per annum based on a 40-hour week
- Overtime paid at 1.5x Monday – Saturday and 2x on Sunday
