Job summary

Fresh Perspective Resourcing is seeking an experienced Service Engineer to service and repair gym equipment across the Bristol area and beyond. You will travel to various gym locations, diagnose faults and perform repairs, while maintaining high safety and quality standards.

You will manage daily travel, stock levels and work independently, with a strong focus on customer service. A valid driving licence and practical engineering background are essential, with a proactive approach to problem

Qualifications

• Mechanical or engineering background with basic electrical knowledge.
• Full, clean driving licence is essential.
• Stock management experience is required.
• Ability to work independently and take initiative.
• Good customer service skills are essential.
• Strong problem-solving abilities are required.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining, diagnosing and repairing fitness equipment; treadmills, bikes, cross trainers, etc.
• Ensuring gym equipment operates safely and reliably.
• Visiting multiple gym sites, responding to breakdowns, completing service reports.
• Carrying out routine preventative maintenance.
• Replacing parts and ensuring equipment meets safety standards.
• Providing advice to gym staff on equipment care and usage to minimise downtime.
