Job summary

You will attend breakdowns, service and maintain equipment, assist installation, and support commissioning, with fault-finding across electrical and mechanical systems.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Service Engineer, Maintenance Engineer, or Field Engineer.
• Strong fault finding experience across Electrical and Mechanical systems.
• Comfortable reading technical drawings and working methodically.

Responsibilities

• Attend breakdowns and diagnose electrical and mechanical faults
• Carry out servicing, repairs and planned maintenance
• Support installation and commissioning of new equipment
• Work on automated machinery including electrical controls, hydraulics and pneumatics
• Cover reactive call-outs and urgent service level agreements
• Diagnose and fix mechanical, electrical, or structural faults on equipment.

The Role

• Attending breakdowns and diagnosing electrical and mechanical faults
• Carrying out servicing, repairs and planned maintenance
• Supporting installation and commissioning of new equipment
• Working on automated machinery including electrical controls, hydraulics and pneumatics
• Cover reactive call-outs and urgent service level agreements
• Diagnose and fix mechanical, electrical, or structural faults on equipment.
• Perform routine safety checks and scheduled servicing on medical lifting aids.

Person

• Experience as a Service Engineer, Maintenance Engineer, or Field Engineer
• Strong fault finding experience across Electrical and Mechanical systems
• Confident working on breakdowns and solving problems independently
• Some exposure to PLC fault finding is highly desirable
• Experience with automated machinery, CNC, robotics or similar equipment
• Comfortable reading technical drawings and working methodically
