Pioneer Selection Ltd in Chessington is seeking a Field Service Engineer to join a market‑leading engineering business delivering maintenance, service and technical support to customers across the South East.

You will carry out planned preventive maintenance, fault‑finding on electrical and mechanical systems, and install new equipment at customer sites, while upholding the highest safety standards and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Maintenance experience in an industrial engineering environment.
• Strong fault-finding skills for planned and reactive maintenance.
• Full UK driving licence.

Overview

Responsibilities

1. Carry out planned preventative maintenance, breakdown repairs, and installations on industrial equipment at customer sites.

Non‑negotiable Requirements

• Previous experience carrying out maintenance within an industrial engineering environment.
• Strong fault‑finding skills with both planned and reactive maintenance.
• Full UK driving licence.

Requirements

• Multi‑skilled engineering background with electrical and mechanical fault‑finding experience.
• Recognised engineering qualification (Electrical or Mechanical).
• Experience maintaining industrial machinery or automated equipment.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Desirable Requirements

• Previous experience working as a Field Service Engineer.
• Experience with PLC fault‑finding using inputs and outputs.
• Experience on manufacturing, production, packaging, or process machinery.
