Job summary

Hunter Selection is recruiting a Junior Field Service Engineer to cover North Yorkshire and the wider UK. You will receive a structured 2-year development plan with full product training and work alongside experienced engineers to build core diagnostics and servicing skills.

The role includes travel to healthcare sites across the UK and Ireland, a company vehicle, and a strong trainee-focused culture. This is an excellent entry point for hands-on engineers or technically minded individuals

Qualifications

• Engineering experience or a strong mechanical/electrical aptitude.
• Keen to develop a long-term career as a Field Service Engineer.
• Good communication and customer-facing skills.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Comfortable working independently and as part of a team.
• Basic IT skills and willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Assist with installation, servicing and repair of specialist medical equipment.
• Carry out planned maintenance and inspections at customer sites.
• Learn fault-finding and diagnostic techniques from experienced engineers.
• Support customer training and provide a high level of service.
• Complete service reports and maintenance documentation.
• Travel to hospitals, dental practices and healthcare facilities across the UK and Ireland.
