Job summary

Hussmann, a subsidiary of Panasonic USA, seeks a proactive dispatcher to schedule and dispatch service technicians from customer calls and service contracts to locations for routine maintenance and emergency repairs.

The role requires strong communication, multitasking, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. You'll support the service team and contribute to successful outcomes for customers.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; an Associate's degree is preferred.
• 0–5 years of related experience or training.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication, verbal and written.
• Professional and diplomatic demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and dispatch service technicians from customer calls and service contracts to locations for routine maintenance and emergency repairs.
• Prioritize calls and leverage appropriate workforce.
• Verify receipt of call by technician and dispatch accordingly.
• Respond to customer difficulties with billing and service.
• Communicate work orders and information to supervisors and technicians.
• Confer with customers or supervising personnel to address questions or requests for service or equipment; assign technicians and work orders.
• Close tickets on work completion and obtain customer feedback on performance.
• Review calls taken by call center and coordinate with appropriate parties.
• Obtain COD information and notify credit for new customer credit applications.
• Additional responsibilities as assigned.
