Job summary

Fidelity Integrated Systems is seeking a Security and Fire Systems Service Engineer to cover Greater London. The role involves corrective maintenance, fault finding, and on-site liaison with clients while supporting monitored systems through the Alarm Receiving Centre.

Offering a broad range of integration projects, the role requires strong electrical knowledge, fault-finding skills, and a proactive approach.

Qualifications

• Integrated Security and Life Safety systems knowledge.
• Strong understanding of electrical principles.
• Excellent problem solving and fault finding skills.
• Solid knowledge of relevant regulations and standards.

Responsibilities

• Corrective maintenance works – fault finding, troubleshooting and first-time fix when possible
• Remedial and small works
• Preventative maintenance
• Client on site liaison
• Work with monitored systems in liaison with our Alarm Receiving Centre
• Act as a Fidelity ambassador when out in the field
• Completion of all required site and electronic paperwork promptly and with attention to detail
• Demonstrate good industry knowledge of all required disciplines
• Participate in regular ongoing internal and external technical, regulatory, and health and safety training
• Mentorship and guidance for junior engineers and apprentices
• Participate in out of hours On Call rota
