Job summary

Johnson Controls is looking for Customer Solutions Technicians to be field-based, carrying out routine inspections and repairs on CCTV, video doorbells and intruder alarms across the UK. Full paid training is provided, with a company van, uniform and tools, plus an incentive scheme.

You will work to meet daily targets while delivering excellent customer service. Ideal candidates will have a full UK manual driving licence, be comfortable working at height, and able to use smartphones, tablets and

Qualifications

• Full UK manual driving licence.
• Ability to carry and climb ladders and work at height.
• Practical skills with hand and power tools.
• Commitment to safety and waste disposal.
• Reliable, trustworthy and able to work solo or in a team.
• Excellent communication and customer interaction skills.
• Familiar with smartphones/tablets/PCs.

Responsibilities

• Carry out routine inspections and breakdown repairs on CCTV, video doorbell and intruder alarm systems.
• Check correct functionality of systems and test panel/back-up batteries.
• Replace detector batteries and verify standby operation.
• Test all detection devices and signalling equipment to the Alarm Receiving Centre.
• Clean and check CCTV and WIFI cameras; follow company procedures.
• Accurately record works on mobile data device per instructions.
