Job summary

Johnson Controls, Inc. is hiring a Customer Solutions Technician based in Northern Ireland. You will carry out inspections, breakdowns and installations of CCTV, doorbells and intruder alarms, ensuring high standards of service.

You will test equipment, replace batteries, and commission systems while using company-provided van, tools, and uniform. Training is provided, and there are opportunities to grow with the brand.

Qualifications

• Full UK manual driving licence.
• Ability to carry and climb ladders and work at height.
• Experience with hand and power tools.
• Commitment to safe working practices to protect people and property.
• Willingness to work on a rota-based on-call shift.
• Reliable, trustworthy and able to work independently or as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and customer-relations skills.
• Familiarity with using smartphones, tablets and PCs.

Responsibilities

• Carry out routine inspections, breakdown repairs and installations of CCTV, video doorbells and intruder alarm systems.
• Test and replace batteries and verify panel, back-up batteries and sensors operate correctly.
• Clean, test and commission CCTV and WIFI cameras and ensure systems function on standby power.
• Complete work details on the Mobile Data Device and keep mileage/expenses records.
• Liaise with service bureau and support teams as needed.
• Deliver high-quality customer service and identify sales opportunities.
