Job summary

Talentmark are recruiting for an in-field Associate Scientist / Scientist to join a growing life science tools company in Cambridge on a permanent basis. The role focuses on hands-on demonstrations and technical support across the UK and international customers, translating scientific requirements into effective proposals.

The successful candidate will have an MSc or PhD in a relevant field, strong lab and communication skills, and be prepared to travel up to 75% with a full UK driving licence.

Qualifications

• Hands-on laboratory experience with pipetting and experimental skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills for scientific audiences.
• Ability to travel internationally up to 75% of days.
• Driving licence and access to a car for UK and international travel.
• Knowledge of protein expression, antibody development, or process development is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Deliver instrument demonstrations and technical support across the UK and internationally.
• Support Sales with customer discovery calls, conferences and follow-up.
• Translate customer workflows into compelling demonstration proposals.
• Capture feedback and work with Sales, R&D, Engineering and Product teams to drive adoption.
