Job summary

Precision People is seeking an Area Sales Manager to cover the West and North M25 territory in the UK. The role focuses on developing existing accounts and winning new business in engineering, industrial supplies, and tooling sectors.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in B2B field sales within engineering, manufacturing, industrial supplies or tooling.
• Proven experience developing new business and managing existing customer accounts.
• Experience selling a solution approach to clients within the industry.
• Comfortable managing your own diary and travelling throughout the territory.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Managing and developing existing customer accounts across the assigned territory.
• Identifying and winning new business within engineering, manufacturing and industrial sectors.
• Visiting customers to understand their requirements and recommend suitable tooling and industrial solutions.
• Building relationships with engineers, production managers, purchasing teams and key decision-makers.
• Delivering product demonstrations and presentations to customers.
• Managing the full sales process, including quotations, negotiations and securing orders.
• Developing territory sales plans to achieve agreed sales targets and KPIs.
• Maintaining accurate customer records, sales opportunities and forecasts using CRM systems.
• Working closely with internal technical sales and customer support teams.
