Job summary

CooperVision is seeking a Business Development Manager for South East London & Kent. The role combines field-based activity with home-based work, covering Croydon, Bromley, Dartford, Canterbury, and surrounding areas.

You will drive sales growth, build strong customer relationships, and lead product introductions while representing CooperVision at events. The role requires a proven sales track record, excellent communication, and the ability to travel extensively within the UK.

Qualifications

• Demonstrable experience defining and achieving sales results.
• Proven coaching style with customers and teams.
• Strong track record of target achievement.
• Excellent relationship-building and listening skills.
• Understanding of sales process and questioning techniques.
• Proactive, independent worker with team collaboration.
• Experience managing a large geographical sales area.
• Optics industry experience preferable.

Responsibilities

• Plan territory coverage and implement a blended contact strategy.
• Build strong customer relationships to meet annual targets.
• Manage day-to-day territory and products.
• Develop and introduce new products to customers.
• Maintain in-depth knowledge of CooperVision products and market.
• Deliver training to retail staff and clinical teams.
• Represent CooperVision at seminars and exhibitions.
• Coordinate with regional managers for programs.
