Job summary

Viva.com is seeking an SMB Sales Executive to drive field-based sales of payment terminals and merchant acquiring services in the Newcastle region. You will visit prospects in person, develop relationships, and close deals through digital and face-to-face interactions.

You will generate opportunities, present solutions tailored to SME retail and hospitality, and manage CRM data while collaborating with a dynamic team in a fast-paced fintech environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in B2B sales to SME retail and hospitality clients.
• Track record of meeting sales quotas in prior roles.
• Strong IT/web-based applications understanding.

Responsibilities

• Arrange meetings with prospective clients through self-generated activities and provided leads.
• Build rapport and qualify prospects by visiting them in person.
• Maximise reach by obtaining referrals from existing clients.
• Identify new opportunities through networking, digital prospecting, and canvassing.
• Present Viva.com products/services with knowledge of market benefits.
• Close deals and sell Viva.com solutions.
• Update customer data in the CRM system and maintain records.
• Attend relevant training and refreshers for the role.
• Collaborate with colleagues to promote team success.
