Job summary

McQueen’s Dairies is seeking a Field Sales Executive to promote our local milkman in Bradford. You will drive sales, build relationships with customers, and represent the brand with a professional public presence. A weekly pay and commission scheme support your earnings alongside a basic salary.

Starting pay is £27,976 per year with overtime and a weekly pay cycle; full training is provided, and transport from depot is available if you don’t drive. A DBS check is required.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer services or a sales environment preferred.
• Able to pass a DBS Check.
• Highly self-motivated and confident engaging with the public.

Responsibilities

• Brand Ambassador for McQueen’s Dairies, sharing our company story with new audiences and have a professional presence out in public
• Build rapport with customers, adapting approach to the individual
• Strong knowledge of products and delivery service
• Objection handling: recognising objections and steering the conversation to overcome them
• Meet and exceed sales targets for both new customers and customer retention
• Coordinate with your team leader to understand map locations to canvass
• Explain service clearly and log customer details into CRM
• Distribute leaflets outlining service and products
• Provide excellent customer service to minimize complaints

Permanent contract: 11.30 to 19.30(including 1 hour break and travel time)

• Meet and exceed sales targets for both new customers and customer retention

Key tasks:

• Coordinate with your team leader to understand the map locations to canvass
• Clearly explain to the customer about our service. If they sign up, clarify what the next steps will be.
• Accurately obtain customers contact details and product order. Enter data onto our CRM system.
• Distribute leaflets that outline the service and products we offer
• Eliminate the risk of complaints by providing an excellent customer service and an accurate sales pitch

Attributes, Characteristics, and Requirements:

• Highly self-motivated
• Confident engaging with the public and speaking to new people
• Previous experience in customer services or a sales environment would be beneficial
• Must be able to pass DBS Check
