Job summary

McQueen's Dairies in Birmingham is seeking a Field Sales Executive to promote our local milkman network. The role combines field-based selling with customer engagement, target-driven activity, and weekly pay with a commission scheme.

Starting basic salary is £27,976 with overtime and performance bonuses. Full training is provided, and a pension and staff discount are available; transport from the depot is provided if you do not drive.

Qualifications

• Highly self-motivated
• Strong English verbal communication skills
• Confident engaging with the public and speaking to new people
• Previous experience in customer services or a sales environment would be beneficial
• Must be able to pass DBS Check

Responsibilities

• Brand Ambassador for McQueen's Dairies, sharing our company story with new audiences and have a professional presence out in public
• Build rapport with customers, adapting approach to the individual
• Strong knowledge of products and delivery service
• Objection handling: recognising objections and steering the conversation in a different direction to overcome them. Answer questions about our products and services
• Meet and exceed sales targets for both new customers and customer retention
• Coordinate with your team leader to understand the map locations to canvass
• Clearly explain to the customer about our service. If they sign up, clarify what the next steps will be.
• Accurately obtain customers contact details and product order. Enter data onto our CRM system.
• Distribute leaflets that outline the service and products we offer
• Eliminate the risk of complaints by providing an excellent customer service and an accurate sales pitch
