Job summary

Premium Power Units Ltd, Clydebank-based, is looking for a Field Sales Business Development Manager to drive growth from our Glasgow premises. You will be the main client contact, promoting our motors, gearboxes and pumps and expanding the existing customer base.

You will visit clients, perform cold calling to win new business, and assist with internal sales when needed. A background in electrical motors or mechanical engineering is preferred for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Previous sales experience required, external field sales role preferred for the right candidate.
• Experience with electrical motors or mechanical engineering trades is desirable.
• Background in an engineering, electrical or mechanical environment is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Promote products and services to clients across Scotland.
• Visit existing clients to grow current business and relationships.
• Expand the client base through proactive calls and introductions.
• Assist internal sales when required to close opportunities.
• Familiarize yourself with our sales and quoting systems.
