Job summary

Interaction Recruitment Group is seeking an experienced Field Sales & Business Development Manager to drive growth across Hertfordshire and the UK.

You will promote security and access-control products, build relationships with installers, electrical contractors and facilities managers, and manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to close. This field-based role requires travel and a proven track record in new business development.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver a focused field sales and business development strategy.
• Identify, target and secure new customers across Hertfordshire and the wider UK.
• Increase brand awareness within relevant trade and commercial markets.
• Build relationships with security installers, electrical contractors, facilities-management providers, property professionals and other trade customers.
• Arrange and attend face-to-face meetings, site visits, product presentations and demonstrations.
• Understand customers' technical and commercial requirements and recommend appropriate products and solutions.
• Generate sales opportunities through proactive prospecting, networking, referrals and industry contacts.
• Manage the complete sales cycle, from initial contact and qualification through to quotation, negotiation and close.
• Develop existing accounts by identifying opportunities for repeat business, additional product lines and increased spend.
• Maintain an accurate and well-managed pipeline of prospective and active opportunities.
• Achieve agreed sales, revenue and new‑business targets.
• Monitor competitor activity, customer demand and wider market developments.
• Attend relevant trade shows, exhibitions and networking events when required.
