Job summary

Field AI in Manchester is seeking a proactive Field Application Engineer for a temporary, part-time role to support deployment, testing, and client-facing operations of our robotics systems. Based on our Manchester site, you will deploy and operate robots in the field, assist during client demos, document issues, and collaborate with engineers and stakeholders.

Applicants should have a technical degree (CS/Robotics/EE/Mechatronics), strong communication, willingness to travel, and basic coding

Willingness to travel frequently across the country.
Excellent organizational skills and teamwork.

Responsibilities

Deploy and operate robotic systems in the field, support testing and data collection.
Supervise remote operations and assist during client presentations and demos.
Facilitate smooth communication between engineers and non-technical stakeholders.
Document technical issues, test results, and client feedback in detail.
Troubleshoot hardware and software issues and contribute to workflow improvement.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to iterate on system performance and usability.
