Job summary

Field AI in London, UK is seeking a proactive Field Application Engineer to deploy and support our robotic systems on client sites. You will collaborate with engineers and customers, run tests, demos, and optimize field performance for drones, quadrupeds, and humanoid robots.

The role requires frequent travel across the country, strong communication, and hands-on hardware/software skills. A relevant technical degree and passport readiness are preferred for site access.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Robotics, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related technical field.
• Strong communication skills—able to translate complex technical topics for various audiences.
• Willingness to travel frequently across the country.
• Up-to-date passport is preferred.
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to work well in team-based environments.

Responsibilities

• Deploy and operate robotic systems in the field and support testing and data collection.
• Supervise remote operations and assist during client presentations and demos.
• Facilitate smooth communication between engineers and non-technical stakeholders.
• Document technical issues, test results, and client feedback in detail.
• Troubleshoot hardware and software issues and contribute to workflow improvements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to iterate on system performance and usability.
