Job summary

ICE is the UK's largest independent provider of cleaning equipment, and we are seeking a Field Service Engineer to diagnose, service and repair industrial cleaning machinery at customer sites across the UK, with a home location within the UK.

You will perform planned maintenance, attend breakdowns within SLA, update our central database, and uphold health and safety standards. A full UK driving licence and relevant repair qualifications are required.

Qualifications

• Relevant certifications or training in industrial equipment repair and maintenance is advantageous.
• Ability to diagnose, service and repair industrial cleaning equipment including vacuum cleaners, pressure washers, scrubbers and sweepers.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with customers, colleagues and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality support to customers through courteous and knowledgeable communication.
• Attend and complete repairs within the contracted service level agreement (SLA).
• Update all jobs in real time on SERVICESMARTPro (SSP) and ensure data accuracy.
• Attend planned maintenance services and PA Test calls on time.
• Order parts via the system to complete breakdowns and replenish van stock.
