Job summary

National Grid Electricity Distribution is seeking an Operator based near Gloucester. You will perform routine inspection, maintenance and repair of tools and PPE, assist with stores maintenance and asset inspections.

Training will be provided to support duties and you must provide evidence of qualifications before appointment. The role requires flexibility and the ability to work in a safety-critical environment; being mobile around the depot area is expected.

Qualifications

• GCSE English and Maths or equivalent level qualifications.
• Evidence of qualifications will be required prior to appointment.

Responsibilities

• Carry out routine inspection, maintenance and repair of tools and PPE.
• Assist with maintenance of stores and inspection of network assets as required.
• Operate with training provided to support team objectives.
