Job summary

Planteria Group in Bishop's Stortford, UK, is seeking an Operations Coordinator to ensure smooth field operations and excellent client service. You will plan shift rotas, schedule field technicians, coordinate resources, and monitor progress to meet project goals and timelines.

You'll work across teams to resolve scheduling bottlenecks, communicate changes to clients and staff, and drive continuous operational improvement through KPIs and proactive problem solving.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills with customers, colleagues and stakeholders.
• Strong complaint resolution skills to manage challenging situations.
• Good organisational skills with ability to multitask and plan ahead in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong problem-solving abilities to identify issues and implement solutions.
• Experience coordinating field-based or onsite teams and resources.

Responsibilities

• Plan and manage shift rotas, work calendars, and field technician schedules to allocate resources effectively.
• Provide oversight of work in progress, identify bottlenecks, and resolve scheduling or logistical issues to minimise delays.
• Coordinate resources including field technicians, inventory, equipment, and contractors to complete scheduled work.
• Act as a key contact for stakeholders, delivering updates and managing escalations as required.
• Monitor KPIs to identify trends and drive continuous operational improvement.
• Support service delivery by ensuring the right people, materials, and information are in place.
• Drive collaboration across teams to maintain effective communication and a high-performing environment.
