Job summary

Edina, a Leeds-based power generation specialist, is seeking an Operations Engineer for a full-time, permanent role. You will perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on installations across Leeds and surrounding areas.

You will diagnose and repair reactive maintenance, optimize processes to boost productivity, and participate in a 24-hour callout rota, with weekend work possible. Safety and reliability are key priorities.

Qualifications

ONC/NVQ2 or City & Guilds Level 2 in mechanical/electrical engineering or equivalent.
Minimum three years' industrial mechanical and/or electrical experience.
Knowledge of gas/diesel engines.
Strong communication and IT skills; proficient with MS Office.
Full, valid driving licence.

Responsibilities

Carry out scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on Leeds installations and surrounding area.
Efficiently diagnose and implement reactive maintenance on client installations.
Oversee and optimise operational processes to increase productivity and reduce waste.
Weekend work and possible out-of-hours work; participate in 24-hour callout rota.
