Job summary

Edina, a leading international power generation specialist, is seeking an Operations Engineer in Leeds. You will perform scheduled and reactive maintenance on client installations, diagnose faults, and optimise operations to boost energy efficiency and reduce emissions.

Qualifications

• OnC/NVQ Level 2 or City & Guilds Level 2 in mechanical and/or electrical engineering or equivalent
• Minimum of three years' industrial mechanical and/or electrical experience
• In-depth knowledge of gas/diesel engines
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong IT skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Valid full driving licence

Responsibilities

• Carry out scheduled and unscheduled maintenance work on installations across Leeds and surrounding area
• Diagnose and repair reactive maintenance issues on client installations
• Oversee and optimise operational processes of users’ systems to increase productivity and reduce waste
• Support project work and installations as required
• Participate in the 24-hour callout rota as part of the shift pattern
