Driver Hire Kingston is seeking a Field / Office sales representative to drive new business and manage existing client accounts in the KT postcodes from Walton-on-Thames. You will work closely with the business owner and play a key role in expanding our presence in the local market.

The role offers a salary of £30,000 per annum with OTE, plus commission and bonus structures. You will be supported by a strong franchise network and opportunities for career progression within Driver Hire Kingston.

We're looking for a passionate and committed Field / Office sales representative to work in our well-established franchise office in Walton-on-Thames. While you'll work with some of our existing clients, you will also lead the charge in bringing on new ones from a variety of sectors and industries.

You'll work closely with the business owner in this high-profile role, giving you a fantastic chance to showcase your skills and open doors to other opportunities and career progression. We have ambitious growth plans to expand heavily into other sectors within Walton-on-Thames, and you'll be pivotal to this.

This high-profile role will see you interacting with key members of the business and so further development opportunities may arise.

What does the role involve?

You will be responsible for delivering high levels of new customer & candidate acquisition as well as managing and growing the existing customer base within the KT postcode territory.

Core Responsibilities

• Direct Selling: Meet prospective and existing clients face-to-face via B2B (business-to-business) visits in the KT postcodes
• Relationship Management: Build trust, answer technical or pricing questions, and handle ongoing account support.
• Territory Management: Plan daily routes, track leads, and manage schedules independently within an assigned regional patch.
• Target Achievement: Work towards quarterly sales quotas, conversion metrics, and revenue goals.

Must have

• Full UK Driving Licence: Essential for traveling between client sites or managing a regional territory.
• Access to personal car: candidate will be paid business miles for using own vehicle.
• Interpersonal Skills: Strong communication, active listening, and the ability to build quick rapport with strangers.
• Resilience: Comfortable handling rejection and working autonomously with minimal day-to-day supervision

As a new Field / Office sales representative, you will be engaged in managing the whole recruitment cycle, including:

• Using our data and identifying new prospect clients to drive decision making.
• Embrace technology to drive effective candidate recruitment.
• Visiting clients and making sales calls.
• Liaising and servicing new and existing client accounts.
• Ensuring all accounts are compliant and up to date.
• Tasked with identifying and highlighting key areas of growth within sector markets.

As a new member of the team, you will be supported through an induction and training programme with Field / Office sales representative from other virtual offices around the country, elements of which will be delivered by Driver Hire Group Services (our franchisor). This programme will focus on giving you the skills and knowledge that will become an essential part of your role within the team. You will also be working with an experienced team to make sure you’re settled and ready to achieve wonderful things as a team!

Experience of sales or recruitment of business development would be advantageous, but more important to us is an aptitude to learn and a positive attitude. We're particularly interested in someone with experience locally within various sectors whether that’s:
