Job summary

Ingram Micro Group is hiring an entry-level Field Network Engineer to start a career in IT networking. You’ll gain hands-on experience supporting customers remotely and onsite, with full training and mentoring provided by a team of experienced engineers.

Role focuses on installation, troubleshooting and customer service across networking and hardware, with a company car, overtime pay and ongoing certifications. Strong communication and a drive to learn are key.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

Assist with installation and support of network equipment, PCs and servers.
Provide remote and onsite technical support to customers.
Prepare and configure networking equipment before installation.
Support customer rollouts, upgrades, relocations and project-based installations.
Conduct site surveys and assist with technical documentation.
Diagnose and resolve hardware issues under senior engineer guidance.
Visit customer sites to replace or repair faulty equipment.
Deliver excellent customer service and build strong relationships.
Participate in on-call rota (max 1 week in 3) after training.
