Job summary

Flying Colours Consultancy Limited is seeking an experienced Network Engineer for our Cardiff and Pentwyn warehouse locations. The contract runs for 3 months with a possible extension and a daily rate of £110–£120.

The role involves installing servers, switches, firewalls, and performing WiFi surveys, with occasional travel within Greater London. The candidate should have exposure to hardware/server installs, relevant IT certifications such as A+ or N+, and a strong customer-service mindset.

Qualifications

• Experience with hardware/server installs preferred.
• Certs such as CompTIA A+/N+ of interest.
• Strong customer service focus and IT aptitude.
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Outlook with clear communication.
• Able to handle sensitive information with high integrity.

Responsibilities

• Install servers, switches, firewall and hard drive installations.
• Patch network and server cable management.
• Audit client environments.
• Conduct WiFi surveys.
• Set up new users, PCs, laptops and printers.
• Secure disposal of IT equipment.
