Job summary

Flying Colours Consultancy Limited in Oxford is seeking a part-time Network Engineer for an on-site deployment. The role is 2 days per week (Wed/Thu, may change) with a 3-month contract and a daily rate of £110–£120.

Responsibilities include installing servers, switches and firewalls, patching, auditing client environments, conducting WiFi surveys, setting up user devices, secure disposal of IT equipment, and occasional travel within Greater London.

Qualifications

• Experience with hardware/server installs would be beneficial.
• IT certifications such as CompTIA A+ or N+ would be of interest.
• A passion for IT and delivering exceptional customer service.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook with clear communication skills.
• Able to handle sensitive information with the highest degree of integrity and confidentiality.
• Able to work hours with variable start and finish times.
