Job summary

Gi Group is hiring Meter Readers in MK40-MK45. No prior experience required. Full-time, outdoor, flexible start times between 8am-8pm, with a 40–45 hour week and potential Saturdays.

You will collect meter readings for gas, electricity and water, using handheld devices and delivering excellent customer service. Salary from £27,000 to £30,000 per year with bonuses and a company car, plus pension, training and up to 28 days holiday.

Qualifications

• No previous experience required.
• Must have a valid UK driving licence.
• Physically fit and able to walk 4-5 miles daily.

Responsibilities

• Retrieving data from meters at domestic, commercial, and industrial sites.
• Carry out visual inspections of metering equipment.
• Charge Point Surveys.
• Drive and work independently.
• Maintain a friendly, professional customer approach.
• Follow Health and Safety guidelines at all times.
