Job summary

Gi Group is hiring Meter Readers across the UK to collect data from gas, electricity and water meters for domestic and commercial properties. You will use a handheld device to record reads and provide first‑class customer service while working across varied locations.

No prior experience is required; full training is provided and a company car is available in many areas. The role offers flexible hours within 8am–8pm, with weekly pay and progression opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Retrieve data from meters at domestic, commercial and industrial locations
• Update reads on handheld device and enter data onsite
• Perform visual inspections of metering equipment
• Carry out charge point surveys
• Provide excellent customer service on site
