Job summary

Veolia Dewatering and Maintenance Solutions is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to service wastewater sites across the South of England. You will join a proactive team on a mix of site visits and hands-on maintenance, including asset overhauls, repairs, and pipework tasks.

The role requires an NVQ/Apprenticeship in mechanical maintenance (Level 3), a full UK driving licence, and solid hands-on experience. A strong benefits package and ongoing training are offered.

Qualifications

• NVQ or apprenticeship in mechanical engineering maintenance at Level 3.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Hands on engineering maintenance experience.

Responsibilities

• Work as part of a team of mechanical engineers or mechanical fitters across sites.
• Carry out complex asset overhauls and replacements.
• Undertake mechanical repairs and modifications to dewatering equipment, pumps, pipework, valves and ancillary equipment.
• Carry out inspections, services and repairs to customers' dewatering assets and machines.
• Lead maintenance and repair of dewatering equipment and ancillaries on sewage and clean water treatment facilities.
• Ensure energy efficient operation and minimise downtime.
