Job summary

Simtec Materials Testing Ltd is seeking a dynamic Materials Site Technician to join our field team. You will perform on-site testing of concrete, soil, aggregates and asphalt, document results, and ensure materials meet project specs.

You will travel to various sites, report findings to the project team, and support QA processes while adhering to safety guidelines on every site. Training is provided for those new to the role.

Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail and clear communication are required.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to travel and adapt to varying sites.

Responsibilities

• On-site material testing and documentation of results.
• Quality assurance of materials delivered to sites.
• Prepare reports and communicate findings to project team.
• Regular travel to job sites, with overnight stays as needed.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers and site personnel.
• Adhere to safety guidelines and maintain a safe work environment.
