ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking a dynamic, collaborative, and innovative individual with a bias for action to lead our field marketing team, overseeing the EMEA and APAC regions. As a Field Marketing Manager for EMEA & APAC, you will be responsible for developing and executing regional marketing strategies to drive business growth across Europe and the Asia-Pacific regions. This role involves managing regional marketing activities, aligning with global campaigns, and collaborating with sales teams to achieve revenue goals. You will directly manage a field marketing specialist based in APAC and work closely with sales stakeholders to build a regional strategy tailored to territories and personas, ultimately building pipeline in the region.
These initiatives will be part of a larger, integrated marketing strategy that encompasses events, trade shows, roadshows, summits, partner sponsorships, videos, and webinars. You will be a key contributor, working with the broader marketing team to develop a plan focused on driving meetings and engagement across both new and existing segments of the business. Successful candidates will possess a background focused on regional marketing, experience working with partners, and familiarity with the fast-paced startup culture, demonstrating flexibility and a can do attitude.
As part of the job you’ll
- Strategic Planning: Developing and executing regional marketing plans aligned with regional sales director & global strategies to drive account-based engagement and pipeline growth.
- Event Management: Planning, managing, and executing various regional marketing events, including conferences, webinars, and customer events.
- Team Management: Manage a field marketing specialist reporting directly to you supporting APAC.
- Demand Generation: Leading local demand generation initiatives in coordination with global teams, ensuring alignment with business priorities and sales objectives.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Working closely with sales, marketing, customer success, product, and other teams to ensure alignment and maximize the impact of marketing activities.
- Budget Management: Managing regional marketing budgets and tracking ROI to ensure investments contribute to business goals.
- Performance Tracking: Measuring and analyzing the performance of marketing activities, including pipeline generation and conversion rates.
- Sales Alignment: Ensuring close alignment with sales teams on campaign execution, lead follow-up, and overall regional marketing strategy.
- Partner Relationships Work closely with the partnership team to plan activities in regions based on priority partners.
- Global Alignment: Partnering with global marketing teams to stay aligned on strategy, priorities, and best practices.
About you
- 5+ years of experience designing, developing, and delivering event programs for customers and prospects, preferably in the cyber security software or related SAAS industries.
At least 1 year of managerial experience.
Proven experience in field marketing or demand generation, preferably in the EMEA and/or APAC regions.
- Ability to communicate effectively at all levels of an organization via presentations, written communication, and spoken channels.
- Proven success leading multiple complete events or diverse work streams from initial objective setting through brainstorming, development, and deployment.
- Desire to thrive in a rapid growth, fast paced environment; ability to adapt well to change and act with urgency.
- Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field (preferred).
- Experience with marketing tools such as Salesforce, Marketo, Asana, 6sense, Reachdesk, and Crossbeam.
- Must embrace working quickly and developing the right balance of tactical execution with team building and team synergies, demonstrating a bias for action.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to track and analyze marketing performance.
