Job summary

Randstad CPE London is seeking a Field Maintenance Engineer to cover railway stations from Newbury to West London, with a base in Reading. The role entails hands-on maintenance and fault-finding on SISS equipment such as CCTV, PA, CIS, and Access Control across the M4 Corridor.

The successful candidate will work in a field-based environment, often in pairs, and must have a Full UK Driving Licence; rail experience is desirable but not essential. A company van is provided with pension benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience with CCTV/VSS, fire alarms, communications, PA Systems & Access Control.
• Strong installation, maintenance, fault-finding skills.
• Ability to work independently in a field-based role, although generally you’ll work in a pair.
• Full UK Driving Licence; rail experience desirable but not essential.

Field Maintenance Engineer | Permanent
Covering Newbury to West London area
Our client is seeking an experienced Field Maintenance Engineer to support planned and reactive maintenance activities across railway stations along the M4 Corridor between Newbury and West London areas.

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and fault-finding on a range of Station Information and Security Systems (SISS), including:

• CCTV
• Public Address (PA) Systems
• Customer Information Systems (CIS)
• Access Control
• Structured Cabling
• Network Infrastructure

Requirements:

• Experience with CCTV/VSS, fire alarms, communications, PA Systems & Access Control
• Strong installation, maintenance, fault-finding skills
• Ability to work independently in a field-based role, although generally you’ll work in a pair
• Full UK Driving Licence
• Rail experience desirable but not essential
