Arcus FM Limited is seeking a skilled AC-bias Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) Engineer to carry out planned and reactive maintenance across a defined Glasgow portfolio, ensuring quality service delivery and rapid first-line response to emergencies.

This field-based role offers a competitive salary (£36,910 to £42,447), a company van from day one, a generous 25 days leave plus bank holidays, and up to 4% bonus, with overtime paid at time and a half and ongoing training at our National Training

Qualifications

• Recognised apprenticeship or qualification in M&E services/maintenance.
• 18th Edition qualification is essential.
• Desirable: F-Gas, Test & Inspection, Unvented.
• Experience in a similar retail or commercial role preferred.
• Valid UK driving licence required.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
• IT proficiency and workload management capability.

Responsibilities

• Perform planned and reactive maintenance on M&E systems.
• Diagnose and resolve faults in electrical, mechanical, and HVAC equipment.
• Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations.
• Provide technical support across multiple sites.
• Liaise with customers to deliver outstanding service.
• Support and mentor apprentices and junior engineers.
