Job summary

Arcus FM Limited is seeking a skilled Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) Engineer to perform planned and reactive maintenance across a defined portfolio in Hampshire. You’ll handle faults in electrical, mechanical, and HVAC systems while adhering to safety standards.

The role is field-based with travel between client sites, includes an on-call duty 1 in 4 weeks, and offers a company van, 25 days leave plus bank holidays, and ongoing training at the National Training Centre.

Qualifications

• Recognised apprenticeship or qualification in M&E services/maintenance.
• Essential Qualifications: 18th Edition
• Desirable Qualifications: F-Gas, Test & Inspection, Unvented
• Previous experience in a similar role (retail or commercial experience preferred)
• Valid UK driving licence (essential)
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
• IT proficiency and ability to manage workload effectively

Responsibilities

• Performing planned and reactive maintenance on M&E systems
• Diagnosing and resolving faults in electrical, mechanical, and HVAC equipment
• Ensuring compliance with health & safety regulations
• Providing technical support and expertise across multiple sites
• Liaising with customers to deliver outstanding service
• Supporting and mentoring apprentices and junior engineers
