Job summary

Speedy Freight is recruiting a hands-on Learning & Development Partner to shape and deliver learning across Speedy Freight and Speedy Parcels. You will design and run training, coach managers and franchisees, and ensure learning translates into better performance across branches and the franchise network.

You will travel regularly to branches across the UK, developing the Management Development Programme and onboarding initiatives to equip teams with leadership and operational skills.

Qualifications

• Experience as Learning & Development Partner or similar hands-on training role.
• Strong track record designing and delivering training.
• Experience delivering face-to-face training and workshops.
• Ability to coach managers and operational teams.
• Able to identify development needs and create practical training solutions.
• Experience measuring training effectiveness using feedback/data.
• Proactive, organized, able to work independently.
• Willingness to travel regularly across the UK.

Responsibilities

• Own and deliver the L&D plan across Speedy Freight and Speedy Parcels to support business priorities.
• Lead the Management Development Programme to build leadership and people-management skills.
• Design and deliver engaging training including workshops, onboarding and operational training.
• Support franchisee onboarding and development, guiding franchise owners through processes.
• Visit branches and franchisees UK-wide to deliver training and provide coaching.
• Collaborate with managers to identify skills gaps and develop learning solutions.
• Measure impact of learning using feedback and performance data to drive improvements.
• Continuously improve the L&D offering with fresh ideas and programmes.
