Job summary

Foodhub is seeking a field-based IT support technician to diagnose and resolve technical issues at customer sites across the UK. You will install and maintain EPOS hardware, printers and peripherals, and provide on-site training to customers on the Foodhub hardware and software.

The role requires 2+ years in field IT support, strong troubleshooting skills across hardware and software, and a willingness to travel extensively. A full UK driving licence is essential.

Qualifications

Experience in field-based IT support, including on-site diagnostics and repairs.
Proven ability to troubleshoot hardware, software, networking, and POS/EPOS integrations.
Strong customer service skills and clear communication for diverse clients.

Responsibilities

Travel to customer sites to diagnose and resolve technical issues.
Respond to escalations from Contact Centre and internal teams.
Install, configure, replace and maintain EPOS hardware, printers and peripherals.
Troubleshoot hardware, software and connectivity with remote support as needed.
Provide on-site training on Foodhub hardware and software.
Record service activities and report recurring issues.
