Job summary

Nextech Group Limited is seeking an experienced IT Project Engineer to implement and deliver technology projects for UK customers. This field-based role focuses on delivering projects successfully and achieving positive outcomes for clients.

You will work with customers and sales teams to understand requirements, manage IT and networking projects, and create deployment documentation. A UK driving licence is essential; salary is £40,000–£45,000 with a range of benefits.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Technical Project Engineer or similar IT engineering role.
• Strong experience implementing and troubleshooting cloud, hardware, software and networking solutions.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft operating systems, Azure and Microsoft 365.
• Good knowledge of Meraki, DrayTek and cloud networking technologies.
• Experience with Entra ID, Group Policy and Endpoint Manager, and other IT security technologies.
• Strong project management skills, including working with customers and internal teams to stay on track.
• Experience with Cyber Essentials framework and general IT security best practices.

Responsibilities

• Implement and manage a range of IT and networking projects.
• Act as a key technical escalation point for the support team.
• Work directly with customers and sales teams to understand requirements and deliver solutions.
• Support onboarding and implementation of new technologies and systems.
• Create clear technical documentation and deployment processes.
• Work independently to identify solutions and improve customer outcomes.
• Ensure projects are delivered effectively, professionally and to agreed requirements.
