Job summary

Flotek Group in Plymouth is seeking an IT Maintenance Engineer to join a hybrid field-based and office team. You will maintain, support and improve partner technology environments across the South West, with travel required and a company van provided for business use.

The role covers proactive maintenance, infrastructure support and end-user technologies, including Microsoft 365, Windows, networking and VoIP.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in MSP, infrastructure, IT support or field engineering.
• Strong Microsoft 365 administration and troubleshooting skills.
• Windows desktop and server support experience.
• Knowledge of Active Directory and Microsoft Entra ID.
• Networking fundamentals including switching, wireless, VLANs and firewalls.
• Excellent communications and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Undertake scheduled maintenance visits to partner sites as required.
• Provide remote IT and communications support via phone, email and remote tools.
• Perform infrastructure health checks and preventative maintenance activities.
• Support Microsoft 365, Windows, networking and end-user technologies.
• Assist with VoIP, internet connectivity and telephony troubleshooting.
• Maintain accurate documentation and ticket updates within HaloPSA.
• Support project delivery, installations and technology refresh programs.
• Act as Flotek's on-site technical representative and trusted advisor.
