Job summary

The Royal British Legion is seeking a Field Engineer to join our Technology Operations team. You will act as the IT face in designated regional areas of Scotland and North of England, delivering on-site and remote support, maintaining equipment and building strong user relationships.

You will require strong technical knowledge of Microsoft 365, Windows, Intune and Active Directory, with a focus on reliable service and excellent customer support.

Qualifications

• Experience in end-user IT support and field-based deployments.
• Ability to travel regularly across the North of England and Scotland.
• Driving licence and access to a vehicle is essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site and remote IT support across devices, networks and connectivity.
• Install, maintain and troubleshoot laptops, PCs, printers, and mobile devices.
• Build strong relationships with site users and act as a trusted technology partner.
• Support Wi-Fi, networking and telephony services and collaborate with internal teams and suppliers.
• Travel to sites regularly to perform proactive maintenance and drive service improvements.
