Job summary

Thames Water Utilities Limited is seeking an Instrumentation, Control & Automation Technician to join the Water Production team at Latton WTW. This mobile role covers the Cotswold and Swindon area, with occasional coverage across the West Thames Valley and Oxford regions to support operations.

You’ll install, commission, maintain and repair instrumentation and associated PLC/SCADA systems while ensuring water quality, safety, and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Experience with level, pressure and flow instrumentation.
• Experience with PLCs (Rockwell/Allen-Bradley).

Responsibilities

• Installations, commissioning, maintenance and repairs of water production assets.
• Work with SCADA systems and PLCs, and supervise contractors when required.
• Investigate asset failures and implement repairs to avoid interruptions to water supply.
• Provide technical advice and training support for apprentices.
