Job summary

Wickes is seeking a Field Installation Manager to lead our network of approved installers across a defined area. You will maximise profitability while maintaining high-quality service and safety standards, building strong relationships with subcontractors and customers.

The role focuses on performance management, safeguarding compliance, and driving improvements in installation standards. A degree is preferred though not essential, with a passion for apprenticeship programmes and team

Qualifications

• A degree is preferred but not essential; demonstrable experience with best practices, performance management, on-site installations, subcontractors, and SOP improvements.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication, listening, negotiation, and presentation abilities.
• A continuous improvement and safety-conscious mindset aligned with Wickes principles; support for apprenticeship programmes

Responsibilities

• Lead, develop, and retain a team of installers, fostering a customer-focused mindset and driving high performance and satisfaction rates.
• Ensure installer SLAs are executed to business standards and optimise coverage and utilisation to meet volume and sales targets.
• Negotiate and administer cost controls; ensure compliance with legal, health & safety legislation.
• Mitigate customer dissatisfaction and brand risk through robust stakeholder relationships and site visits.
