Job summary

Wernick Power Solutions, part of the Wernick Group, seeks a Generator Service Engineer in Aldridge. You will maintain and service a range of generators and associated equipment, performing inspections, testing and commissioning to high safety and quality standards.

Reporting to the Service Manager, you will handle breakdowns, repairs, and on-site installations while ensuring excellent customer service and adherence to SHEQ standards. On-call duties are included.

Qualifications

• Proven mechanical or electrical expertise relevant to power generation equipment.
• Experience performing maintenance routines in field service or depot settings.
• Hands-on generator engines experience is essential.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine inspections, testing and servicing of generators and allied equipment.
• Address breakdowns, perform repairs and handle installations/commissioning.
• Maintain safety, quality standards and customer service; manage admin tasks and timesheets.
• Participate in paid on-call rota and support depot/service manager as needed.
