Job summary
NG Bailey Facilities Services is seeking a Mobile General Maintenance Technician to support contracts in the Leeds and Yorkshire region. The role covers a broad range of fabric repairs, decorating, carpentry and minor plumbing while working across multiple sites.
A full UK driving licence is essential and a company van is provided. This mobile role includes PPM and reactive maintenance duties, with opportunities for overtime and a generous flexible benefits package.
Qualifications
- Experience in fabric maintenance, PPM and reactive tasks in commercial or facilities environments.
- Ability to diagnose faults and carry out repairs with minimal supervision.
- Familiarity with RAMS, permit-to-work and health & safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Undertake broad general maintenance tasks including minor repairs, decorating, carpentry and plumbing.
- Complete fabric-related PPM tasks and reactive repairs within SLAs/KPIs.
- Record work in the CAFM system and maintain site documentation.
- Coordinate with client, FM colleagues and subcontractors to meet contractual obligations.
- Ensure safety procedures and method statements are followed at all times.
