Job summary
NG Bailey Facilities Services are recruiting for an experienced Mobile General Maintenance Technician to support contracts in the Leeds and Yorkshire region covering PPM and reactive maintenance. This is a varied mobile role, ideal for someone with a broad range of practical building maintenance skills who enjoys working independently, solving problems, and delivering a high standard of service.
A full UK driving licence is essential, as a company van will be provided.
Qualifications
- Fabric maintenance experience in commercial/industrial settings.
- Ability to perform PPM and reactive maintenance tasks.
- Full UK driving licence is essential.
- City & Guilds trade qualification or equivalent is advantageous.
Responsibilities
- Undertake a broad range of general maintenance tasks, including minor building repairs, decorating, basic carpentry and minor plumbing.
- Complete fabric-related PPM tasks and reactive repairs within SLAs.
- Diagnose faults and complete repairs across multiple locations, often independently.
- Support other engineers and technicians to meet contractual obligations.
- Maintain accurate records and use CAFM to log work and updates.
