Job summary

VodafoneThree in Leeds (Field Based) is seeking a Field Engineer to install, maintain and troubleshoot fixed and mobile networks. The role requires SC clearance eligibility, a full UK driving licence, and willingness to travel.

You will join Vodafone's UK Networks team, working in a demanding but rewarding environment with opportunities to advance and contribute to national connectivity. Full time 37.5 hours per week, with a shift pattern and 24/7 rota as needed.

Qualifications

• Formal telecoms/electronic qualification or equivalent experience
• Ability to work in a team and autonomously
• Willingness to travel and operate in field conditions
• Excellent safety mindset and adherence to HSE standards
• Excellent customer-facing skills and professional communication
• Proven fault diagnosis and rectification of telecoms technologies

Responsibilities

• Play an integral part of the Vodafone Field Engineering team, performing installation and maintenance activities for fixed and mobile networks and Vodafone business solutions
• Regularly climb Vodafone infrastructure and perform rooftop-based work; undertake health assessments for safety
• Adhere to quality and H&S standards and hit performance targets
• Travel as required to meet business needs and operate in flexible hours
• Participate in a 24/7 callout rota and/or shift patterns as assigned
• Install, commission and maintain Vodafone network, products and services to Vodafone standards
• Follow HSE Absolute Rules and communicate professionally with customers
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement to deliver operational excellence
