Vodafone UK is seeking a Field Engineer to install, maintain and troubleshoot fixed and mobile network components from Shrewsbury or Telford, with a 37.5 hour week and a 24/7 callout rotation as required. You’ll work across Vodafone’s network infrastructure to ensure top-quality service for consumer and business customers.

The role requires SC clearance eligibility, a UK driving license and the ability to travel.

Formación

• Formal telecoms/electronic qualification or equivalent experience.
• Provision of service, fault diagnosis and rectification of relevant telecoms technologies.
• Multi-vendor CPE including Cisco, Juniper and ADVA; core transmission technologies DWDM and Ethernet; mobile networking 3G/4G/5G and associated equipment.

Responsabilidades

• Install, commission and maintain the Vodafone network, products and services to agreed Vodafone standards and service levels.
• Perform installation and maintenance activities in support of fixed and mobile networks and Vodafone business solutions.
• Undertake regular health assessments and adhere to safety standards and policies.
• Communicate with internal and external customers professionally and promptly.
• Participate in a 24/7 callout rota and/or shift patterns as required.
