Job summary

RecruitME is seeking an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer for field-based work across Cambridge and surrounding areas. You will perform planned and reactive maintenance on high and low voltage equipment, diagnose faults and carry out repairs to keep sites operating safely and reliably.

This role involves working with a wider engineering team, supporting multiple sites and coordinating with contractors.

Qualifications

• Experience in industrial electrical maintenance and fault finding.
• Knowledge of high voltage systems operation and safety.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out planned and reactive electrical maintenance on HV and LV equipment.
• Diagnosing faults and completing repairs to keep plant operating safely.
• Working with switchgear, transformers and generators.
• Coordinating with contractors and ensuring safety documentation is completed.
• Assisting with isolation/disconnection activities when required.
• Recording work and reporting maintenance activities.
